ILNA Fall Coin Show & Convention - Sept. 7-9, 2007 - Countryside, IL

Thought I'd like to share some news with everyone on the forums. The Illinois Numismatic Association will be having its 48th Annual Fall Coin Show and Convention from September 7th through the 9th at the Park Place of Countryside Hall, located at 6200 Joliet Road, in Countryside (suburban Chicago), Illinois. Show hours are from 10AM to 6PM Friday and Saturday, and from 10AM to 3PM on Sunday. There will be dealers from all over the Midwest present buying and selling coins, currency, exonumia, and supplies. Parking and admission are FREE. There will be coin seminars on Sunday, September 8th, and a YN Auction on Sunday, September 9th at 12:30pm. For more information, visit www.ilnaclub.org.

Yours truly will be there all three days (either at the front desk or on the bourse floor trying to make deals), and I would not be surprised that his Madness will be there with the world famous Rubber Chicken (I have something for him image). If you're planning to come, please post it here. image

    And I can confirm the MadOne will be there as well, but when will be a surprise.

    Will the ILNA website be updated to include a dealer listing and bourse map?

    All in all there are not that many more dealers there than a regular Countyside show. The ILNA show NEEDS to be moved to a larger venue. Taking the same space as the regular show and cramming in another row of tables sucks!
    It is not exactly cheating, I prefer to consider it creative problem solving!!!

    I'll be there. I agree that it needs a larger venue. Heck, even something a little farther NW of the city would be nice! image

    And as long as we are dreaming, good coffee and food would be nice too. image

    Your Madness, I have some news regarding a larger venue - ILNA is looking at a prospective new facility in the Chicago suburbs, and that is all that I can say about it at this time. More details will be discussed after the show unless otherwise.

    The show used to attract a few more non-regional dealers.

    John Shuch (fairtraderz) and Johnathan Kern were not there last yr. They used to be regulars there.

    Prolly they got tired of Blueberrys antics (or his breath!).

    I am going to be coming in around 6:00 or 7:00 tonight. Are there going to be any coin tailgating in the parking lots or vest pocket deals going on in dark alleys I should know about? image
