how many have found seated halves here?

a guy on another forum recently dug a nice seated half. got me wondering how people have dug one these before? i've only dug 2 in 20+ years. maybe they're rarer in some states. both of mine are really ugly. the first was an 1863 and this one is an 1866.

I found this one MANY years ago now......It was face up and had a barber quarter sandwiched with it and a 1907 Barber half.

ya i remember yours tom, you called me all excited about your first seated half. that was cool. i bet alot were dug in the 80's. i remember seeing them frequently at our club back then. it was easier to get into sites back then, nobody cared if you just walked right into a construction site.

One Seated quarter so far... no halves. My oldest half dollar is an 1894-O Barber.
