It ain't like we can't build a new stadium, but our politicians are losing their minds for ratings, while destroying history.
We already lost one of the coolest horse tracks when they tore down Ak-Sar-Ben.

Yikes, probably some healthy tax hikes for state and city residents -- are they able service the debt on the Qwest center without a AHL hockey team now?

The Knights played at the old Civic Auditorium. UNO hockey plays at the qwest, so does creighton basketball. The Qwest is also in the top 10 as a concert venue so it's doing OK. Now if we can only get the ANA to hold a national show in OMaha at the qwest!

Given the success of the UNO hockey team, is hockey catching on at the youth and high school level as well in Omaha?
