ha, i liked those too,got 20 more balls,some of em team balls,hoping some are old, and 20 some more bats coming, and a ton of old cards,that were all cased in those this old slabs they used to make about 1 1/2 thick, got a 63 mantle i got to put on here and see what people think

In my opinion, the DiMaggio ball doesn't look real. Compare it to eBay item #320153442838 which is a DiMaggio ball authenticated by PSA/DNA and the autographs aren't really even close. However, the others look legit to me - then again, this is just my opinion.

Unfortunately, I was thinking the same thing. The other two look great (I own a couple of those myself, as well as a bat with them on it), but the DiMaggio looks suspect. Not saying it's for sure fake, but something doesn't look right.

i noticed that when i saw it, also has in small letter underneath the rawlings a.gabriel,and its in the same pen but i only paid 800.00 for the 2 micks/williams/2 bats/2 nazi uniforms i already sold for $4000.00 for both,and the confederate $,so i dont care about the joe really, i knew it wassuspect right off but basically it was free,i done made my $ on the ww2 nazi unforms,so everything is is profit glad im a military dealer lol

Rube - the Dimag is real bad...take that ball out back and take some BP with it...

I'm a little disturbed by the Mantle and Williams balls too, but there are so many really good fakes of those guys out there it's really hard to tell any more. If you can get an OK from PSA or JSA you'll be able to sell them for decent money, no problem. If not, then maybe my hunch was right.

do i have to send em in or can i send em a pic of em somehow with the 7.99 quick opinion thing on ebay moose, i can list em and find out i suppose,dont know how long ittakes though,ive never had a ball psa done, do they charge you an arm and a leg for it,i have another mantle ball too id like to get done,sig look the same to me

Rube - never used the PSA Quick Opinion service myself but other posters here have done so. Basically you can post the balls in your eBay store with a super high price, then buy the Quick Opinion service and they'll probably take 24-48 hours to get back with an opinion. It only cost 10 cents to list and whatever the Quick Opinion service costs.

My guess is that they will err on the side of caution though, but if they say OK, then you can send in. I think Mantle and Williams cost $150 each to authenticate. JSA is cheaper, and yes, you have to send the items in.

i think the mantle and williams are ok they have the hologram sticker on the back mantle is aue44322 and williams has auf33173 ,it is a oblonged foil thig with a holograms in the background,anybody know about them?the joe definately didnt have one lol

if i knew where to look i could find out, i can remember seeing them ,but i was out of collecting for 20 odd years, i have several other with same logo on em, i just cant remember who the compay is,or was ! getting old sux lol

I believe they are, as you can see the large "A" in the background of the holograms behind the serial #. They are exactly like my Jordan items that I purchased from UDA

They might be Steiner holograms, but I don't think their website has a way to check like UD does.

they do have the large A and a "sun" around each one is the best way i can explain it

The Mantle and the Williams look fine , don't need to see the sticker.

The Joe D ?? Maybe he was hammered at the time of the signing .

i looked em up on upper deck,its not them,i dont know ,there were so many dif compaines back in 80s-90s or so doing it,i have some balls that have same hologram but still dont know who the company is

if they dont sell i might do that,i hate to send somebody a ball and get charged 100.00 to authenticate it lol,i have 2 mantles now ,both are the same, one in pic is too,they are real,if they wanna check em they can do a psa quick check thing i told em in the listing,i coulddo it as faras that goes coulldnt i?
