OK, Who's lincoln grades are these ?

Well ran accross this, poor person appears to have even submitted under regular service at $30 a coin. That's ok, lesson learn, now don't do this again. Ask for advice first.

I'll admit it, my first submission was 2 coins for the express service, paid about $2k for them from a doctor on ebay. They came back questionable color and 1 day past the return deadline to the seller. Lesson learned and I can't believe that doc is still working ebay after these few years have past.

Some of the coins on that submission are going to leave a mark.

The grading fees will hurt enough, I hope his purchase price wasn't too high.

The only reason I know that isn't my submission
is I would be too embarassed to click the "shared" button.
Other than that it looks pretty familiar.

What makes you think it was a $30 per coin submission?

Some economy turn around times have been this quick.
I decided to change calling the bathroom the John and renamed it the Jim. I feel so much better saying I went to the Jim this morning.

If it were mine, I'd confess.

Here is my very first submission in 2004:

    1 1 21778349 8400 1900 $5 US Cleaned <--- Raw on ebay
    2 1 21778350 8401 1900-S $5 US AU50 <---- Raw on ebay
    3 1 21778351 8516 1909-S $5 US AU50 <---- Raw on ebay
    4 1 21778352 7144 1883-CC $1 US PVC Residue <-----

I felt pretty low about that image
I looked at the link and don't feel that bad. The worst lesson was submitting a same coin that got bodybagged for PVC residue a second time image That's a little embarassing.

Holy cow! 2 grading fees are worth more than all of the coins put together - even at the economy tier. Jeez.

My guess is he didn't purchase them at all. He may have pulled them from circulation decades ago and simply wanted to see them in plastic. Why, I don't know.

I actually feel very bad for this individual. It is clear that they didn't know how to grade or understand the PCGS levels of service.

Chance are that this experience will sour them forever. image
