    Wow, that's still some payout.

The house, half of his pension, 3 million bucks... and $10,000 a MONTH in child support.

A MONTH?! What're those kids eating and wearing?! Bald eagles and gold jumpers?!

    I guess Kanye was right.

"If you ain't no punk, then holla we want 'pre nup.'
Yeah, it's somethin that you need to have, cuz when she leave yo ass she gonna leave with half."
Nolan Ryan & Edgar Martinez are my favorite players...

That is a very harsh judgment to say the least but $10,000 a month is just ridiculas. There is no need for anyone to shell out that kind of money in child support, this poor guy will end up being broke down the line and prolly will have to sell his cards eventually.

He has a ton of money. Plus he still is adding to his collection.

that's not that much for child support, considering what he makes. Wasn't Barry Bonds paying 30K a month, and wanted a reduction when they were on strike in '94
My understanding is that the kid has to live at the same level whether he's with his mom or dad, so they just level the playing field between the 2 parents.
In other words, don't get divorced until the kids hit college!

I'd have just reached into my bag of magic tricks and made her disappear .

That's Crazy and enough to make a man want to go crazy .

My highly unstable emotions would have never let her get away with that , I'd probably be spending the rest of my days in a cell .

According to baseball-reference.com, he's made over $42M in salary and since I'm assuming he's a FA this winter, a .337 BA (batting title possible) and a .900+ OPS will land him a contract that may double those earnings in the next 4-5 years. He's got his cards and his truck, and he just lost 150 pounds or so. He's OK.
