Two 1909VDB Matte Proof Lincoln cents in PR67 RED condition are currently available for purchase on the PCGS World Series of Coin Trading for only $65,000 each. These two coins are at the highest grade in PCGS holders. Someone must have just traded out of them (not me) so if you like MPL's and you like the "holy grail" of Lincoln cents, here is your opportunity to own one or two. Sorry for the confussion. I monitor the VDB Matte proofs in the World Series contest and when I saw the two available I thought I'd give someone interested a "heads up".
I decided in this years contest to go after the 1990 no S Lincoln proofs and I now own them all! Not much potential to win, but lots of fun to say I own ALL the available 1990 no S Lincoln cent proof coins in ALL available grades. Currently 86 coins. Steve
