1933 Goudey Babe Ruth cards

There are four of them, correct? Yellow background, Red background, Green background, and the natural background.

What is the order or rarity?

I have a red background in the safety deposit box, but I've never had anyone accurately tell me if it the "tough" one to get. I was always under the impression that the yellow background was the hardest one to find.

  • The yellow is the toughest one. It is one of the "low number" cards in the set. The red card and the green card are about equally tough, but the bleeding on the red makes it tougher in a high grade 7+ The natural card is probably the most recognized card, but it was a double print making it the easiest to find.

I'd take the green over the others, I love the pose, and the color reminds me of a candy I never ate

I chose the green as well, as my favorite pose of the Babe in that set. I'd like to have them all! But one will do.
