  • I don't see any of the yankee loudmouths in here posting, I wonder why that is?

Oh that's right, because even winning 2 from the sox, they are still SIX games out!

Come on - are you kidding me?

The Yankees have no shot. Zero. Forget about it. Get back to reality Yankee "fans" and concentrate on maybe getting the wild card.

  • they have a very good shot at the wildcard.

    that's all I;ll say image

The Yankees are 7 or 8 games out of first place, I don't see it happening with only about one month left in the season.

It would take a major collapse of the Red Sox and the Yankess catching fire, don't see it happening.

The wild card is still a possiblity however.

I see the Red Sox taking the division and then getting blown out in the 1st round of the playoffs image

Michigan, I think that you are a tad off by 2 or 3 games.

Don't worry - I'll stand behind my comments. And if I'm wrong, I'll take the heat.

But believe me, I'm not wrong on this one.

Think wild card NY. There is no shame in it.

How can you be so sure on this one? Sure, I want the Yankees to win the AL East and I think they will, but both the Yankees and Red Sox have been so damn streaky this year so who knows. During this season there were a few times when in the matter of days the lead has changed 4 or 5 games in either direction. For this reason I really think the Yankees have a realistic shot especially with 3 games still remaining between the two teams. It will be an exciting finish for sure!

  • The Sox finish at home and the yankees on the road. Toronto is going to do to NY what they did to Boston.

Quotes like this leave me shaking my head about those who cry foul when Yankee fans are getting excited after such a horrible start. There is NEVER any accountability when it comes to the remarks of Yankee detractors. But Yankee fans are supposed to walk the line and not make remarks that favor them? What a joke .....
