<< <i>Just throw the 2006 Gold Eagle Anniversary Set up on eBay with a BIN of $6750 and you'll have a quick sell and be able to purchase the PCGS AU53 1853NA 25¢ no problem. >>
I thought I saw the same grade set sell yesterday for 7800? I'll have to recheck.
On this topic though.... out of all of the coins I own, I believe the AGE FS Anniversary Set will be worth MUCH MORE than current in 4 more years as the Eagles celebrate their 25th anniversary.
EDIT: Here is the LINK to the one I saw last night which I based my pricing on. I see others current for less and more so ????

Yup, it'll appreciate I'm sure. BUT, that 1853 NA Quarter in PCGS AU53 with PQ look will do nothing but increase in value as well.

<< <i>I think the higher circ 1853 NA 25c's will always be sort of stunted by the numerous UNCs of the is date. Considering you can buy an UNC for $6-8K, and gems for $9-12K, this will always tend to hold back the AU's. I stupidly sold my OGH PCGS MS66 example of this about 2 years ago. It was almost a shoe-in upgrade and I'm positive it now resides in a MS67 holder. Still, there must be a half a dozen or more of these in superb gem out there, enough that every UNC 25c set can find one.
