This is a Buy, Sell, & Trade - Coins Forum, not a Buy, Sell, & Trade Promises of a Coin Forum image

Any post of a Pre-Sale of multiple coins requires 'the promiser' to have developed a scheme to get around the US Mint Limitations for the ability to sell. While it is indeed feasable and many here, including myself have dabbled in the process, unitil coins are IN-HAND, they DO NOT EXSIST!

Go to EBay with this crap, not on a PCGS sponsored Forum!

Everyone, grabbed the Torches and Pitchforks, 7/8 go get some rope, I know of a tall Oak.............

    While I think ebay AND here should prohibit presales, I do have to wonder about why you have such an issue with it.....methinks it is because you are primarily a flipper and feel it is cutting into YOUR potential profit....image

    That said, there is plenty of "pre-sale" type of action going on from dealers of classic coins....people who advertise a coin they may have access to but not actually have. Something else to think about....

    I've been told I tolerate fools poorly...that may explain things if I have a problem with you. Current ebay items - Nothing at the moment

    Ahh! The real nexus of the thread!

    Despite lots of evidence of pre-sellers who do not preform when prices jump to 3x or 4x , despite Board members here burned by pre-sales on EBay, it is always comes down to caveat emptor.

    I can accept that. I am a freemarketer, too.

    look 'Coinboy', let's look at the facts:

    - there are no stated rules for what you're demanding to happen on this forum.
    - You are a seller of modern Mint stuff
    - you are railing against the sales of other forum members

    since you're so thinned skinned that we noticed your obvious motive of other modern pre-sale 'flippers' cutting into your sales, maybe you should take up another hobby/occupation? Maybe one where you can call people names for a living when they confront you with your obvious motives to stifle competition.


    You started the aggressive thread, now shed the 'Boy' monniker for a 'Man' and take your medicine like you deserve.

    being that you don't know what you're talking about and just want to act childish, i won't respond any further. In the future, you may want to mind your own business and

    If I were, I would complain how certain people that flip always screw the market by bringing the prices down to almost nothing. But, that is just flippers wanting to do the least amount of work and get more in volume. I don't do that but I am not going to complain.

    I believe I said I also understand about selling without guaranteed producted and delivery time. It's why I wait until I have them in hand (even when coming back from PCGS, I don't sell until I have received them, though, I would consider it OK to sell once coming back from PCGS). I lose potential profits by doing that, but I haven't had problems.

    I've been told I tolerate fools poorly...that may explain things if I have a problem with you. Current ebay items - Nothing at the moment

    Bottom Line:
    If no one likes to buy pre-sale items then dont buy.
    If no one likes the pre-sale post here dont read them.
    Same with eBay or any other venue.

    Coinboy I agree with you on the fact that these Jefferson Liberty's may be sought after by alot of people and those people who are buying mass quantities are taking it out of true collectors hands. One limit per house is the rule on the new one I believe.

    It is rather funny since most on this forum knows how to order from the us mint directly.
