Need opinion please on 1798 1/2 Reale

Sorry no camera and no pictures but would like your best opinion of the value of this coin.Its a 1798 1/2 reale minted in Mexico, Carolus IIII. Its in a PCI holder and is graded VF-20. It also has a FM on the reverse. I collect U.S. coins so I don't know about these except to say that it is original and crusty and not a bad looking coin. They are asking $55.00.

$55 for a VF-20 common date 1/2 Real sounds a bit too much. These are pretty abundant in F-VF and I wouldn't go over $25 for one, myself.
