man that game this moring was unreal was suppose to start at 7 started at like 11 but ended at 3:30 this morning wow...but the tigers won so thats okimage

    It started a little after 11 PM, AND it went to extra innings. Crazy.

    Hopefully this will be the FINAL beginning of the end for the Yankees. This will tire out the Yankees' pitchers for the rest of the Tigers series, then they'll be prime pickings for the Sox next week!

    Personally, I like it when the Tigers and Yanks beat up on each other... means the Mariners' hold on the wildcard is just a little bit stronger *grin*

    Although, now that I live in Michigan, I sure wouldn't mind seeing BOTH the Tigers and Mariners make the playoffs... and the Cubs in the NL too... I could REALLY max out my credit card then.
    Nolan Ryan & Edgar Martinez are my favorite players...

    Watching the game right now , watched it last night /this morning . . was a good game .

    I love a tight game , I also like the series against the Angels .

    I'm a Yankee fan so you know I'm not too happy with the way things have gone for them , but . . . It's baseball .

    I do like the way Joba has been pitching , Kid is incredible so far .

    I would love to have his autograph , My son . . . . ahhhh, not so much , my wife either , they seem to think he is too full of himself, i don't see it that way , he's just proud to be a part of the best team in baseball . . .

    damn!!! how about today's game?!?!?! i was there, getting sunburned. i'd never seen an inside-the-park-HR even on TV and Grandy leads off the game with one!! this was starting to become a slugfest, but everyone just died after the 5th inning. i love a game-ending double play...especially against the Yanks. almost as thrilling to me as a walk-off!!! good times....... Bless You Boyz, THIS is the year!!

    I can't remember the last time I have seen an in the park H/R .

    Was a good game even though we lost , Nice tight game .
