Great baseball card book on Amazon.com

Link to book on Amazon

Very funny book to read, but with a very intricate plot that baseball card collectors will love!

Anyone here read it yet?

  • That book sounds a lot like one we were all discussing here not too long ago. At that time, it was considered to be the greatest baseball card-related novel in the history of publishing. Is this the same book?
  • Sounds a bit similiar to the kids novel Honus and Me. It is worth a read even for an adult

"I put my pants on just like you... One leg at a time. The differences is when I put them on, I make gold records."

Nothing like the author shilling his own book!

Always looking for Topps Salesman Samples, pre '51 unopened packs, E90-2, E91a, N690 Kalamazoo Bats, and T204 Square Frame Ramly's

  • If he doesn't shill it (and I don't start new threads on it), who will?

This is a bit different, since now it can be ordered through Amazon.

    Go Gators!

No, and keep this up and I probably never will...
  • Nope, still not making any money from the sales of the book. Just trying to get as many people to read it as possible.

If any of you have your feelings hurt because I mentioned it and don't read it because of that...

    whoopty freakin' do.
  • Here's what the newspaper had to say about it:

  • Halleygator,

Congrats on the book. Nevermind the negative comments. Some people "thing" they own the boards and can tell others what they can and can not post.

No, we just think people who ridicule the efforts of others, but can't spell are stupid!
