On the registry, what is the difference between Master and Basic set, noticed some years have each some dont, have all mine, however small they may be, listed in Basic. Thanks, Tim

Master sets contain all the error or variation cards. Basic sets just contain one of each card. Some years only have basic sets due to the lack of multiple cards with errors or variations.

I like the master sets because I want to have one of everything.

Appreciate the information, have been wondering for a while, guess I should have checked set compositions. Thanks, Tim

It really depends on the sets that you're collecting whether variations are a bige deal or not. The sets I collect in the early 70's have very few variations and most of them are on checklists. So, for me - they're not a big deal.
