Someone explain this to me.....NARU is back from 3rd strike

About a 1 1/2 months ago, a buyer wins 2 of my auctions. Fails to pay and give excuses. I filed 2 NPB alerts (1 for each item) that he never responds to. I get my FVF credited and the dispute is closed, and I go back to the item to get ready to neg him only to see that he's now NARU'ed.....okay, good enough. That means he got his 3rd strike and he's out of here.

So yesterday, I clicked on my FB, and I see this guy is back and posted 2 comments, but the comments are neither positive or negative....just a blank. And he has the audacity to say the cards were great, etc. This is what it looks like.

Thanks, card was perfect Buyer: tbryan714

So I clicked the learn more icon and it says he can leave a comment, but it's like a blank comment that doesn't affect me. I can still come back and neg him, which I probably will, but I went to my ebay and looked at the dispute console regarding the 2 items. It now says that the strike had been reversed.....why is that? He never paid me, and I never reversed it, and also my FVF fee check mark has now disappeared, and the dispute is "closed". What just happened here? Anyone know?

  • The buyer did not respond to your UPI so the feedback he left does not count.

Where does everyone get the three strikes rule from Ebay has never said 3 will get you NARU'ed nor does it? It is possible he used his one automatic strike removal and got one strike removed and got reinstated. FWIW 2 strikes from you counts as one in Ebays eyes.
