It's Sul Ross, not USC, but still major props to the guy.

I'm curious to see him in action. The concept of a 59 year old linebacker chasing down 20 year old running backs gives hope to us all when we get to that age.

If you want something badly enough, you will figure out a way to do it. This is how Evander Holyfield thinks and he is still boxing his way to another title run.

Flynt has been in shape for awhile now. He should be fine. I heard that age effects the knees, but he is no average 59-year-old, so the same standards do not apply. He knows what he can handle or can't. He has a lot more experience now and experience does help compensate for certain physical shortcomings. Younger guys have all the brawn, strength and brute force, but lack the experience and little tricks. The older athletes may have lost some physical prowess, but they make up for it by knowing their way around the game and where to exert most of their energies for the biggest payoff.

NCAA division III has no age restriction. NCAA division I has a restriction of age 25. I know this because I was in NCAA division II and learned the rules.

    Wow . . . How rare is a story like this ?

Maybe Big George Foreman will try to make another come back ?

I love that guy , I still wouldn't want to get hit by him though .
