I feel like a 3 yr. old! I downloaded photobucket and got my photo uploaded, but how do i post the picture. I've been trying all day. Thanks for the help!
first, right click on the "direct link" area under your image in the photobucket site (the 2nd line under your photo) and choose "copy"; then go back to your CU message and hit the image icon.....a box will come up asking for the url of the image. paste the image link you just copied from photobucket into the box. make sure the box that pops up is empty so you don't duplicate any part of the url. preview your post and it should show your image.

I hate to sound stupid (i am by the way). What do you mean by text. When i clicked the picture the box popped up and i copy/paste the information straight from photobucket. I did have to delete [IMG] before and after the address.

go to "properties" at the bottom
copy the address (url)
you need to add these html text at the beginng and at the end; [ IMG ] [ /IMG ]
example [ img ]http://images.collectors.com/messageboard/cu_message[ /img ] </----without the space in the inside the img box
waa laa.....
hope that helps. or you can just link it to the board using the http keys at the top...

I do work with computers -- and sometimes wish I didn't. If I can hold out a few more years, I'll be able to retire...
Best of luck with the pics!
