PSA vs Beckett question...

Hi,
I was wondering if anyone has ever cracked a PSA graded card and sent it in to Beckett, and if so did it grade higher or lower?
Thanks!

<< <i>I've done it the other way around. I cracked two BGS 8.5s and got back two PSA 9s. >>
So Beckett is much stricter on their grading...
If you're collecting anything older than mid '80's or so Beckett is completely irrellevant.
Always looking for Topps Salesman Samples, pre '51 unopened packs, E90-2, E91a, N690 Kalamazoo Bats, and T204 Square Frame Ramly's
'68 Bobby Orr = BVG (trimmed - no grade) > PSA 8
'68 Bernie Parent = BVG (trimmed - no grade) > PSA 7
'68 Gordie Howe = BVG 6 > PSA 6
'84 Fleer Clemens = BGS 7 > PSA 8
These were cards I originally sent to Beckett raw and later sent to PSA. I still like PSA better because I find them much more consistent. Beckett can be ridiculously hard or ridiculously lenient. It's crap shoot depending on the mood of the grader I guess. Anyway, I'm VERY leery about buying high dollar cards in Beckett holders for this very reason unless I can physically examine the card myself.

Hard to judge based on 2 trys. I considered those two cards to be critically UNDERGRADED, which was why I popped them out.
I do wish that PSA offered subgrades though. I love that about Beckett.
