What are the working hours of graders?

Hello.

I was wondering what shift graders work. Is it the standard 8 hour work days with weekends off?

Yeah! stupid question. image

Thanks.

They start most days about 9 or 10, ocasionally as early as 7, but somedays as late as 12 or 1. They stop about 5:30 or 6, occasionally about 4 or 5, but sometimes as late as 11 or 12. Somedays, or afternoons, they aren't hardly there at all, and lately they have been there just about all the time, except when they are someplace else like the national or another card show.

    I hope that helps

  • Last I heard, they work from noon to 1 with an hour lunch break.
    Guess that explains the backup....

Sadly, the wave of outsourcing has hit the collectibles industry, too. All graders are now outsourced to India, except for BCCG, which continues to use untrained chimps and dice.
