1972 Lincoln Cent DDO PCGS MS66 RED in OGH - PICS FINALLY ADDED!!!!

drddmdrddm Posts: 5,304 ✭✭✭✭✭
I have had this coin for a VERY long time and I am reluctantly selling it to raise some cash for another coin purchase.
It is a VERY beautiful coin with no noticeable marks, nice luster, and VERY nice eye appeal. It is high end for the grade IMO as well as according to some dealers I have shown it to over the years.

Any marks seen are on the slab, NOT the coin.....this coin has amazing surfaces!!!

What do YOU think of it?

Thanks for any opinions.

Do you know the pops on these. I'd imagine it's quite low in such nice shape.

    cladking,

Only lawyers ask questions they already know the answer to.

Look beyond the scratched up plastic and the coin looks quite nice.

    This coin is a winner.

I would have been interested in this coin but I completed my "roll" of PCGS slabbed 1972 DDO cent in grades ranging from MS-60 to MS-67RD about 3 years ago.

Of course, the prices 3-6 years ago were about 50% of what they are today.

I still believe they are solid buys today and if you study the pricing of them the MS-66RD is a good value compared to the MS-65RD pricing today just as before.

I love that issue. They come with such nice strikes and surfaces! My 65 suits me just fine. Yours is obviously a PQ piece.
