Submission Question

I am working on a submission and want to request that they do not grade with any qualifiers but simply the best straight grade that it deserves. How do I do this? There is a minimum grade area but that's just for crossovers which this is not. How do I go about requesting this and do they usually honor such a request? Thanks for your help!

Just write on the top of the submission form in all caps NO QUALIFIERS PLEASE...have never had a problem this way.

    Thanks...that seems easy enough.

So an 8(OC) would end up as a 7?

Please clarify. I'm new to all this too.

It would likely end up either a straight 7 or a straight 6 depending on how off center the card is. Look under their grading guidelines.

  • Can you ask them to regrade a card, say from 8 OC to 7 or 6 with no qualifiers? Is that usually better to do if you are planning on selling a card?
