Are 1989 Score baseball cards useless?

Did they over produce in mass quantities?

About the only use they have is for people wanting a run of sets, Unopened at $7-$8 per box, not really much there
IT IS ALWAYS CHEAPER TO NOT SELL ON EBAY

They burn a very nice color in the fire place.
Saves a few bucks on the electric bill.

Jeff! How have you been? You are missed on the Beckett boards (at least by me)

I collect them with a vengeance and always pay HUGE dollars for stars and/or commons.

Well, 1988-92 Score may not be worth the paper they're printed on value-wise, but they are still very nicely designed sets (especially 1991 and its subsets) and the extensive write ups on the back are quite interesting. I currently have the 1988-95 sets and I hope to get the last three years of it (and Donruss) to make a complete run of both.
