I drove past the one in Blaine yesterday when I went to Austad's golf and the lights were still on. When I spoke to the manager a couple weeks back he said he expected only to be open through the end of that week. None of the stores has ANYTHING in them anymore. Unless you are looking for overpriced autograph memorabilia or magic cards. The sports cards, supplies and magazines are pretty much gone.
Really sad.

I practically lived in the Roseville Shinders from 1986-1989; my buddies would pick me up before they had to work and drop me off there, so I would be close when they got off and we could go do something. I would read for hours and then drop $100+ on my way out on stuff, so no complaints. I moved to Brooklyn Park in 1994 and I think I was at the Crystal Shinders every day for a year straight - LOL. Grew up in Ham Lake / Andover so spent plenty of time at the Blaine Shinders as well. Very sad to hear they're gone...
Take it easy, Jared
