It's my first time doing this. So, hopefully I'll have at least one 10 someday.

    Okay guys. Don't shoot me, but these are BGS. AND ONLY because they were a gift. That's all. I feel so guilty now for posting BGS and not PSA. Please forgive me.

    The 9.5 is equivalent to a PSA 10, so it's not all bad. At least you didn't send like 200 cards on your first sub and get totally demolished like I did.

    Don't feel so bad, you could have had BGS fold your card for you when they get it!

    You can see the fold across the top near Birds head. Not mine but a friend - BGS eventually gave him a couple of hundred dollars worth in grading certificates which he promptly sold. Has never used BGS since (and it's what got me starting to use PSA exclusively)

    Dammmmnnnnn......so they bent/folded it....realized what had happened and decided to grade it and then slab it....send it back to the owner hoping they don't spot it? I'm actually surprised they didn't use the "it's your card, that's how we got it" routine. Glad your friend got compensated for it.

    That sucks on sending in 200 cards and getting demolished . . .
    I think just for sending in 200 cards they should at the very least , show a little mercy .

    As far as bending a little with the grades . . . I'm sure he didn't mean , Bend my card !

    That is insane !
    Glad your friend was compensated but that isn't going to fix that card .

    What you have said is pretty much spot on how it happened.

    Don't worry - they tried the "It was damaged in shipping" line - pity it was one of the cards in the middle of the package. That's why I said that he eventually got reimbursed - it was a crap fight to get anything out of them.
