Larry Brown, who played twelve seasons in the majors, is a local here in South Florida.
Did you know about his big brother Dick Brown? Dick was a catcher from 1957 to 1965 (Cleveland, Boston, Detroit, Orioles). Had to retire as a player because of a brain tumor in 1965. Sadly, it took Dick's life in 1970.
