A LITTLE HELP FROM MY FRIENDS UPDATE

I am overwhelmed at the response I have gotten to my post seeking Basketball cards to give to inner city kids. So far I have over a thousand cards. The plan is for my sister to use the cards as an incentive i.e. an A you get 50 cards, most improved 50 cards ect ect. I plan on saving the Graded/Game used cards until Christmas so each kid gets a graded/game used/bobble head / ect- I have a few E.James bobbles from when he was a Colt. These kids have NEVER seen a game used card, a Beckett, a toploader,a graded card ect. Last year a kid-who was the most improved got a game used card of his favorite player and he cried! He was so happy and I bet he will treasure it forever. That is what it's about, right? Yes, I know Pete bet on baseball but he will always be my favorite player. I am more mad about him becoming a Phillie than I am his personal problems. image Anyway- thanks to Brian, Trevor,Rich and Art and anyone else who is down with this project. Your friend. Mike

    Next MONTH? So he's saying that if he wins, the best-case scenario is that he'll be paying for it two weeks after the auction ends?
