MVP & ROY Awards

I've been having fun reading thoughts on who might win the Cy Young awards this year so I thought I'd start this thread to see what everyone else thought for a few of the other awards. Here are my predictions:

AL MVP: A-Rod. Magglio Ordonez should finish 2nd.

AL ROY: Dice-K. He might not really be a rookie, but the precedent has already been set and in the absence of a dominant hitter who else would get it? Pedroia or Willits?

NL MVP: I'm not sure about this one, but maybe Prince Fielder if the Brewers make it the post-season. Miguel Cabrera is a leader in HRs, avg, and RBI but the Marlins aren't great. Others?

NL ROY: Ryan Braun looks like a sure-thing to me. Hunter Pence 2nd?

Just I thought I'd throw this out there, and I am biased, but Brian Bannister has been lights out since the beginning of June. He's currently 8-7 with a 3.41 ERA. Not saying he will or should beat out Dice-K, and like you said, the precedent has been set, but just thought I'd bring him up.

if mets win division david wright should get some serious votes. looks like he will make 30 30 club this year.

if the brewers make the playoffs, than Prince could very well win it.

My AL vote goes to Magglio Ordonez; arod definitely 2nd.

Pedroia is my ROY. i dont give it to veteran Japanese players with 8 seasons under their belts.

Braun is a lock since hunter Pence went belly up on the D.L.

toss for AL cy young. Bedard with a couple more wins would be the clear leader, too bad he plays for a suckfest of a team.
top contenders are CC Sabathia, Carmona, Lackey, Haren and Beckett...and PUtz too.
