ebay seller to look out for

3 days ago I purchased a ( as far as the description goes ) high grade 1979/80 Topps Hockey set on ebay. The auction description clearly stated payment was due within 14 days. I have NEVER taken 14 days to send payment and more often than not send within 48 hours.

In this case I knew I would be unable to get to the bank to deposit funds until tomorrow, so I contacted the seller stating I would be sending payment via check rather than paypal, so that the check would arrive to them by friday, which is when I would finally be able to get to the bank...you get the idea.

Well, I received an email from the seller tonight stating that I BETTER overnight payment or ELSE they would relist or sell to the next highest bidder. The seller also edited the auction description to now state payment was due within 7 days.

Between their unprofessionalism in their response and their unscrupulous practice of changing their payment requirements I have come to the point where although I was ecstatic to win the set and more than happy to abide by their payment requirements I now want to tell them to shove it and sell to whoever they want and go to hell.

It goes against everything I believe in to publicly throw their name out on here, but I wanted to vent nevertheless.

Im still up in the air whether or not I want to pay this jerk or just tell them to shove it and take whatever comes my way in return.

Anyhow, I just had to vent somewhere, somehow. I just wish there were more respect for trading/selling partners but I guess thats hoping for too much.
