1762 1/2 Rouble Catherine II

I have value question on a silver 1762 1/2 rouble from the reign of Catherine II. The coin has not been clipped and probably grades Fine. Any help on value is appreciated!

If it is original and problem free, I would guess it is in the range of $125 - $150. It is quite difficult to estimate the value of these Russian pieces. I would suggest selling on eBay for the best return. Any pictures of it?

I noticed this on eBay yesterday. It is a fairly circulated rouble, but I imagine this will bring $300 by the time is it over.

  • No pics, but I could probably take one. I'm a currency guy and this came in a deal. I've heard that Russian material has gotten stronger in the past few years due to more $$ in Russia. Thanks for the quick reply!

Wow, that 1729 on eBay has a nice look for a midgrade circ coin.
