PAYPAL spoof email

this one is scary. it looks very real and says you've been charged for a transaction, which of course you don't recognize. They have a link to a dispute console on the page, which of course is where they want you to go to provide them with all your goodies. They also have a nice little "save my information" button which once clicked, will probably not be where you want to be.

They are getting better at this stuff. I would love, just once, to confront one of these animals.

I dont even touch em. Did you forward it to spoof@paypal.com? Not that it will help much because it is spammed all over already but at least it will be reported.

Never answer any paypal or ebay email, never click on any links from such a message.

Instead, go directly to the website yourself and check for messages.

i get em all the time, ive been getting alot of those stupid things from asia for some reason from about 20-30 diff emails in last 2 days, if u got ebay toolbar you can click on it and it will tell you or not if its a fake site or not right off the bat, your green toolbar icon turns to red,and will say this is a possible spoof or phishing site, and you can turn it in from there, or you can just do the spoof thing
