As much as I've read over the years, this point still escapes me as the "finish" is not really bronze but rather bronze in appearance from what I gather. When I have seen pieces described as bronzed, they seem to have a kind of matte appearance. I definately can not say and not sure that anybody can say with 100% confidence on all pieces whether they are bronzed are not. Some seem to fit classically and others not; maybe this is one of those things that is in the eye of the beholder.
Also maybe has some pics as I am not up to that technology at the moment.

There was an older thread which I am unable to locate in which the graders mentioned that these coins would be BB'ed at a TPG had it not been for the fact that the bronzing was a mint process. This seems to point out to the fact that the surfaces are somewhat different than the regular coins. Anyone remember this discussion before??
