Just wondering...when do you guys find is the best time to post an item on Ebay?

I find most things sell on Sunday and Saturday (in that order), but when do you like to end your items? Also, any other tips for getting traffic?

  • The heaviest day is without a doubt Sunday night. The next best would be Thursday and Monday nights. Friday is the worst followed closely by Saturday.

i try to do same, nighttime about same time as the other guys on any day, after people get home from work and feed thier face and eat!for traffic, you can create a webiste and link ebay to it like i did,if someone goes to website, and then links from there to your ebay and buys, you are charged no final value fees, ebay store referral credit they call it

Especially during the summer, you probably want to avoid Saturdays all together and Sunday until later evening, taking into account the 3 hour time difference between the west coast and east coast. Of course, with the proliferation of (free) sniping services, this does not matter as much as it once did in my opinion.

Ill put items on any dayof the week. I think the time of day is more important than the day. If you have you items ending between the window of 5 and 10 central, you get maximum bang for your buck imho. If nobody list items to end on saturdays, you can buck the trend and list some decent items and get ok prices because you have less competition ending around yourself.
