Will someone please cool these Yankees off.

I'm going to forgive you only because you have a great sig picture
Yeah, I guess its easy for a Mets fan to feel sick about that

I'm not that impressed.

What ever you have to tell your self at night to get to sleep!
Yanks can't play .800 ball the entire second half.
Maybe they will. Won't that just annoy you to no end? The Pinstripes won 114 games in 1998 so anything can happen. The Red Sox certainly can continue to play barely .500 ball like they have for the last 2 1/2 months. I wouldn't be surprised at all if the Yankees end up in 1st and the Blue Jays in 2nd place in the AL East just like last year.
"The answer was in the Patriots eyes. Gone were the swagger and c0ck sure smirks, replaced by downcast eyes and heads in hands. For his poise and leadership Eli Manning was named the game's MVP. The 2007 Giants were never perfect nor meant to be. They were fighters, scrappers....now they could be called something else, World Champions."

No, they won't. I'm sorry, but when the Yanks won 114 games in 1998 they actually had a good pitching staff. This year's version is abysmal in comparison, and there's no way they will be able to sustain this run against quality opponents.
The blue jays in second place? That's the second great joke I've read here today!
The red sox will wake up out of their sleepwalk and run away with the division.

There is so much wrong here in this statement, but simply put - the Yankees are in no way, shape, or form anything like the team they had back in 1998. They will have to play teams with winning records quite a bit now, so look for reality to set in (and the Yankee thread to die again). And, the Blue Jays (?) in second place? C'mon man! Even you yourself can't believe that one.
