PSA REVIEW SERVICE

I have a question if i have 3 psa 8 cards i feel really could be a 9. Do people recommend the review service or breakingn it out of the case and sending it back in raw

    crack out of case an resubmit,same with crossovers!

    crack and resubmit.
    The review service will cost you money and get you no where. They never make mistakes.
    I know of a few people that had them reviewed, were told the grade was correct, cracked them and bumped them up.

    Always looking for Topps Salesman Samples, pre '51 unopened packs, E90-2, E91a, N690 Kalamazoo Bats, and T204 Square Frame Ramly's

    It's worth the risk though!!

    The chance of a card coming back higher if using the resubmit/crossover option is exactly 0.0.

    Plenty of vintage psa 10's started out as PSA 9's and were bumped in the holder. If you spend any time on the set registry forums there are plenty of examples of that happening. For crossovers, unless you are absolutely positive it meets the spec, I would crack it ever single time. I currently have an 11 card review order at PSA right now. When it pops, I'll look for this thread and post my results. Everything I sent in is vintage (1960-1980) and are all PSA 7 or better. In fact, a couple are 9's I'm asking for 10's on. Wishful thinking I'm sure but worth the effort. Depending on my success, I've got some more expensive, higher profile cards that I feel could/should be a grade higher.

    thanks for the help and suggestions they are three 1965 philadelphia psa 8 willie davis, chicago bears team , and jim taylor which under 10x magnified seem to be a 9 without a doubt. not very high dollar cards but very low populated 9 cards that could help boost my registery rank but then again what do i know image thanks for the advice propbabley will lean to popping them out and submit just don't want to screw up the card in the process
