Suggestion needed

I have 3 5000 count boxes. You know the drill, its all garbage. I had no luck giving them to a children's hospital (they don't want them), and these would sell for less then the shipping on ebay. Rather then throw them out, what should I do with them?
If I had a wood burning fireplace, I would use them for heat, but thats not even an option.

I'm building a 1968 and a 1970 Topps set. I have lots of 1970s and 1960s to offer in trade.

Agreed.
I'm surprised your children's hospital declined free stuff. I suggest contacting them again and speaking with someone else.
Seriously, try Craigslist if they have one in your area. Put a listing under either Collectibles or Free announcing 15,000 cards for free. If you are in a big city with a well-trafficked Craigslist they will be claimed within one hour.
I'm in the SF Bay area and I've gotten rid of as many as 25,000 commons in one shot this way - once in about 10 minutes from hitting "Enter" to the guy showing up on my doorstep.
Kids love free stuff!
Write it off.
