71 cards in PSA 8 and PSA 9 can fetch good money.
Most common 72 Topps cards in PSA 8 are not worth the grading fees.
If you are selling raw cards you would want to separate the years
Show us some examples of what you got......
1955 Bowman Raw complete with 90% Ex-NR or better
Now seeking 1949 Eureka Sportstamps...NM condition
Working on '78 Autographed set now 99.9% complete -
Working on '89 Topps autoed set now complete
**here's an example of some that haven't made my plelim. list to possibly submit.....the stars are not in good enuf shape, the others would give an ex. of average grade of the other couple hundred '71's.....I have a list of about 50 or so I was hoping to send in for 8-9....however,you know the difficulty w/ this set.....and most will could come back 7's
I would sell them as a lot on ebay with several scans. You could still do ok with them.
...One last thing, and I'll leave you alone.......any sugs. on how to price on e-bay,and all! at once-or several lots?.....you may PM me if you wish, also do you think the '72's grade any higher w/out the black border issue etc.......
You'd probably get mostly 7s on the 72s, but really not worth the money for grading. Those World Series cards look nice- don't know anything about those but I'm sure some other guys around here would chime in.
As far as ebay, I think listing them at .01 with no reserve and rolling the dice is the way to go. You could probably do a compelted auctions search to see what comparable lots have sold for just to get an idea.
1970s are round date on front and blue printing on back
1971s are square date on front and black printing on back
1967s are black and white front.
1970 and 1971 say copyright 1968 on back but that doesn't have anything to do with the date. The 1970s end with the 1969 world series, the 1971s end with the 1970 series and then there are rare update cards like my 1971 clemente I posted above. There is also a 1980 set that has sticker backs instead of story backs, they are comparatively less valuable.
The cards were designed by Laughlin, if you google Laughlin and Fleer you should get a lot of information. I have a set of each but they really aren't worth all that much.
When you go to list the 1972s and also the fleer cards on ebay, I bought more cards in small lots or partial sets than I did as individual cards, also if you use the black background and big scans you should do ok. Finally, the biggest drawback of the fleer/laughlin cards is the centering problems they had, some of yours have nice centering and should draw some interest. You won't get rich but you should find some buyers.
