<< <i>your missing the most important choice. NONE OF THE ABOVE >>
Life is unfair and filled with difficult choices, grasshopper.
<< <i>thats OK i made my own poll lol. >>
You forgot the "Don't know" and "Don't care" options!
thats an awesome analogy KC, i loved that episode
for the record, Rose is the turd and BOnds is a douche
collecting RAW Topps baseball cards 1952 Highs to 1972. looking for collector grade (somewhere between psa 4-7 condition). let me know what you have, I'll take it, I want to finish sets, I must have something you can use for trade.
looking for Topps 71-72 hi's-62-53-54-55-59, I have these sets started
The question is "Who would you rather see in the Hall Of Fame?".
The choices are "Pete Rose or Barry Bonds".
Choose one or the other or (Hey, a third option!) don't vote.
- Life is unfair and filled with difficult choices.
Agree 100%. Rose himself now seems resigned to his fate. This year was the first in a while that he was signing autos during the HOF ceremonies in Cooperstown. He had stayed away for several years thinking it would help his case, but I think he realizes that Selig has no intention whatsoever of admitting him to the Hall.
Collecting 1970s Topps baseball wax, rack and cello packs, as well as PCGS graded Half Cents, Large Cents, Two Cent pieces and Three Cent Silver pieces.
<< <i> The difference is that Bonds is a first ballot HOF and it's not even debatable. Rose will never get in unless he one day disassociates himself from gambling, just for starters.

And it's really a shame because Rose was a great player who helped my Phillies win a World Series. Would the Phillies have won the 1980 WS without Rose? Well they had basically the same team and failed to get into a World Series before acquiring Rose.
Bottom line - Rose loves gambling more than he loves baseball - that is quite clear and unless that changes, Rose will never get in the Hall - I don't care who is the commissioner.
<< <i>Pardon my ignorance, but is Rose still the same compulsive gambler he always was? >>
Once a compulsive gambler ALWAYS a compulsive gambler, believe that.
