Anyone know a good seller for half sovereigns

I came into a (little) extra cash so I may pick my idea of a half sovereign type set again. Can anyone recommend a good seller for Victorian half sovereigns, common dates welcome in XF - AU condition.

I will have a look at Andy Bruce's site but anyone else out there?

Half Sovs are much harder to find than sovs, the mintages and high usage of them means that there are not many around.

You will not find a single dealer, but rather need to regularly check the lists of many dealers in order to find what you need.

Edited to add:

They are also more expensive, and in the case of Aussie Halfs, many times more expensive than sovs.

Thanks for the info cruzi, I may look at a mixed type set of halves and full sovs to get all monarchs and mints at reasonable prices

I've been trying to build a Mint/Reverse/Obverse Set of sovs for a few years......


With the Half Sovereigns, decided to go London Proof Monarch Set, which believe it or not is much cheaper than trying to build an Australian Half Sov Type Set in high grade.
