I am now A-Rod's biggest fan

Hope he can take Barry's record down in the next 7-10 years.

Thanks Matt, you beat me to the edit
  • Can I jump on board with you. Barry is a bum! I can see in 7-10 years he will write a book about his drug use. A-Rod will pass him for sure! Look at the age difference between them. I hope Barry retires soon. Than the record can go to someone who is more deserving. Like A-Rod maybe Griffey

Totally agree. I really hope and pray that ARod breaks Bariod's record in a big way.
I usually run to the TV to watch any highlights of records being broken or milestones being reached. I have not seen Barroid's tying or breaking HR and don't care if I ever do. I will watch when ARod does though.

Does Ken Griffey Jr. have a son in ball? I'll root for him to break the record.

Go A-Rod! Nice of Barry to keep the award warm for you, for a time. When you take it over we'll all be able to place a particularly disgusting ASS-terisk "behind" us.
  • I'm pulling for Adam Dunn - okay maybe it's a longshot. But the guy is only 26 and already has 228 HRs. He's had 40 or more in the last 3 years and will probably end up with close to 50 this year. If he plays 14 more years (until age 40) and can maintain a minimum average of 40 a year, that's another 560 home runs. Add the 228 that he already has and that's 788 HRs. Again, I know it's a longshot, but I just like the guy. If he can't do it - GO AROD!

IT'S A SAD DAY IN AMERICA!

There was another thread on here recently about whether or not there will ever be another 300 game winner and the opinions were pretty much split 50/50 as to whether there would or not. I think we can all agree that someone, someday will break Bonds' record and I can't wait until that day!

The way the Blue Jays pitchers are throwing to (at) Arod, he probably won't be hitting a ton of his HRs there.

As long as Arod stays with the Yankees he should be fine. If he ever ends up on another team, like the Giants, the media will eat him alive about his PED use.
