Question about using reholder service

I received a couple of cards back that have what look like plastic fragments stuck in between the card and the PSA holder. Has anyone used the $5 reholder service? What is turnaround time usually like for that and is it worth doing with cards you want to sell if the little bits of plastic detract from the appearance at all?

I have used the reholder service and had my cards back in hand in about 2-3 weeks. Depending on the severity of the plastic I don't think it would affect the sales price if you want to sell the card.

If you recieved the cards from PSA like that, i would call customer service and complain. you might be able to show them some scans of what you mean. If they did it then you shouldnt have to pay to have it fixed. I received about 5 cracked holders out of an order of 12 from a tall-boy special. I talked to someone and they were reholdered free of charge. I did this at a show, but if you just got them back in the mail I would call and complain. If that doesnt work email Joe O about the issue.

I agree with the posts above.

If you just got back a submission and notice some holders were chipped/damaged email PSA immediately and they will reholder the cases for you free of charge.

If you bought the graded card from eBay and you want it reholdered, it will usually take 2-3 weeks. $5 service fee per card!

From past expereince NO they DO NOT change the certificate number. They do change the holder though. I use to have a few graded holders with the hologram on the back. When it was reholdered they used the newer ones!

PS: How many cards did you submit? Did you use the renewmal membership certificate or was it a special? A one-day turnaround is jaw-dropping!
