    the 49 leaf hands down. a beat up, altered, recolored, back covered in glue, raw ungraded card from a selled in canada that does not take paypal just went for over $1900. So I think that makes it pretty desirable.

    I agree with Allen. It is a great card that I can only dream of owning.

    Yup, '49 Leafby far, though for looks alone, I like the '49 Bowman.

    Also, if you can't swing the Leaf, his '53 Topps is a great-looking card.

    And it's affordable. Anything lower than a PSA 5 can be usually picked up for under $200
    So basically my kid won't be able to go to college, but at least I'll have a set where the three most expensive cards are of a player I despise ~ CDsNuts
