Lubeck 4 Schilling 1724 Question

Hello to everyone.

Can somebody give me the catalog values for the 4 Schilling from Lubeck from 1724. It's a small silver coin.

Thank you in advance.

  • Hang on! I miss-read the date. I do not have that Krause. I read it as 1824. Sorry for the confusion.

Sorry, I am Krauseless again, as I am when at work.

I swapped this Lubeck 8-schilling and its companion, a 4-schilling, a little while ago. Think I got 35-40-ish for the pair. I got both of mine from Coinpictures for a nice price.

There isn't a 1724 4 schilling listed for Lubeck, from either the Bishopric or Free City. Only the Free City issued that denomination.

If it's not a typo, I assume it's much the same as the ones issued 1727-1729 (KM# 143), CV $12 in Fine, $60 in EF.

Maybe I misread the date. Seems like I'm going to have to re-check the date once I get home after work.

  • My mistake, it's a 1728 issue.

Mine is a little weaker than LordMinivan's.
