Two cheap junk bin medals - any info?

You ever go through someone's 1/2 off junk bin and set stuff aside in a "Neat-O" pile but have no idea what they were? These 2 fit that mold for me. Anyone know what they are by chance?

Thought the high relief was pretty neat - just said "French Medal - Rare" on the 2x2

Thought the angels playing instruments were pretty neat - maybe stick it in the kids' music room

There's an example of the French one listed here.

Pretty sure the second one is a Christmas piece. I'm no Latin scholar, but I think they're the Latin words from the old carol "O Come All Ye Faithful". adestes fideles laeti triumphantes = "O come, all ye faithful, joyful and triumphant". On the other side, natum videte regem angelorum = "come and behold him, born the king of angels".

I like the first one. Smoebody has a juicy junk bin.
