  • the Yankees keep winning.

Shortly they will have a better record than both the Red Sox and Mets. image In fact the way the Yankees have been playing lately, I would not be surprized if they wind up with the best record in baseball this year.

"The answer was in the Patriots eyes. Gone were the swagger and c0ck sure smirks, replaced by downcast eyes and heads in hands. For his poise and leadership Eli Manning was named the game's MVP. The 2007 Giants were never perfect nor meant to be. They were fighters, scrappers....now they could be called something else, World Champions."

image Your bullpen is too awful for that to happen! But I know your all charged up after beating the snot out of the Royals, I understand. image
  • perkdog, we shall see. Since May 15th the Yankees have the best record in baseball. They also had the best record in the month of July.

    heh thanks for the chuckle.

Please look at the teams they've been beating before you make grandiose claims that the yanks will end up with the best record in baseball...you only get to play the royals, d'rays, and white sox so often before you have to play quality teams.
  • During this run they also beat the Angels (the Yanks arch-enemy) and Twins each 2 out of 3. We will see. Meanwhile KC gave the Red Sox a hard time.

That's nothing. Since April 2nd, the Red Sox have the best record in baseball.

For the last two months the Sox are barely over .500, if even. You guys keep it up and you will be scrambling for a Wild Card come September 30. May the best team win!

That's true, the Sox have been hovering right around .500 since June and yet . . . well, I'd hate to repeat myself.
