Kindof off topic---Anyone see the movie "Alpha Dog?"---A-Mark production

Anyone see this movie? I saw it a few nights ago and I noticed it said A-Mark production which I didn't think much of until I saw Steve Markoff as executive producer.

Is this the same A-Mark as in A-Mark precious metals?

Kindof a weird leep from coins to movies...anyone have back story?
