1967 venzuelan roger maris

general question if anyone has info one this

I have a chance to purchase a 1967 Venzuelan maris psa 7 (mc) for 400.00 dollars. It is authentic and according to the population reports only two have been graded this one and another that got a psa 1 . All I know is that these cards were rare, but really nothing more. If anyone has info on these cards would be a great help

thanks

I have a 66 maris psa 4, paid $240 for it on this board and I'm pretty happy to have it. I was high bidder on a psa3 I think 1964 maris and had set my snipe at 375 when the auction was ended early. I have also been outbid on a 62 maris at about $500.

If it's a 7 mc and it's an appealing card, $400 sounds cheap. If the MC is on the front and it's ugly, unless you need it for a registry set I would pass.

dino tampa bay cards does a lot with venezuelan cards, if it's not on ebay maybe ask for advice from him, you can message him on ebay?

The usual problem with venezuelan topps cards is that the normal custom was to glue them into scrapbooks and so they usually have paper loss on the back. They're rare, but because of the paper damage they're really rare in high grade.

a psa 7 mc must look pretty nice , since the 67's have such thin borders I would be curious t o see the centering if it is really miscut
