My dippy seller of the day...

So I win a card for .99 on ebay. Seller was charging $5 shipping, but whatever. Today I get the card in the mail, in a plain white envelope in a toploader with .41 postage. I didn't whine much but expressed my displeasure. Seller is shannonsrcs with a feedback score of 44. So I guess I shouldn't have expected too much.

Just wanted to let you know I got the card today. However
I am very disappointed I was charged $5 for shipping and
the card was sent to me in a plain white envelope with .41
cents postage on it. The card had slid halfway out of the
toploader but luckily was undamaged.

SHOULD HAVE BEEN TAPED ON TOPLOADER, I WILL BE MORE CAREFUL
FROM NOW ON AND THANK YOU FOR YOUR HONESTY. I WOULDN'T
COMPLAIN TOO MUCH ABOUT SHIPPING SINCE YOU WON A 25.00 CARD
FOR LITTLE OR NOTHING.

My reply:
$5 shipping is high anyway, but that's not my complaint. I figured it into my bid as I always do. My complaint is the fact it was shipped in a plain white envelope and was hanging out of the toploader. The amount the card sold for is insignificant, but let's be honest, If it was really a $25 card, it would have gotten more than one bid at 99 cents. I've bought a few of these and I think $2 is the highest I've paid. I would just suggest bubble mailers and a team bag or taping the toploader in the future.

I hate it when they think that have a rational comeback for their stupidity or laziness.

A week or so ago, someone actually sent me a card in folded cardboard taped together. Charged me $4.00 S/H on a $5.00 item with zero protection.

I was shocked the post office would accept it but I guess they do.
So basically my kid won't be able to go to college, but at least I'll have a set where the three most expensive cards are of a player I despise ~ CDsNuts

I was just looking at some of that very seller's listing this morning, but opted to pass out of principle as they charge $5.00 for shipping. Usually I will just take into account the shipping charge when making my bid, but when the seller is clearly overcharging on shipping, I will pass all together... not rewarding bad behavior sort of thing. In light of your experience, I am very glad I did pass.

Do you think eBay will EVER give us a blocked seller list?
