Napolean pinback

This is a little smaller than the size of a US nickel and appears to be made of silver. It appears to be uniface as there are no lettering or devices on the reverse...only a broken pin. Do you think that it's from the time of Napolean or something made fairly recently?

Though I do note that the E doesn't have the acute mark above it, like it often has when his name is written in French. If that's "in English", then I'd assume it was issued by American sympathisers - it sure wouldn't have been issued by British ones!

Apparently I have been awarded one DPOTD.
From the style, it looks to be from around the turn of the 19th/20th century. Early 1900s, would be my wild guess.
