Stay away from downtown if you are looking to party.

I suggest The Palm, Wynn, Hard Rock, Mandalay Bay, and Studio 54 at the MGM if something is going on.

If there's any down time, try to catch a show or two: The Blue Man Group and/or a Cirque show.

Just remember, what happens in Vegas, stays in Vegas.

Just remember this- If you're doing anything in Vegas that doesn't involve at least two of the following things, you're wasting your trip:
Gambling, strippers, a pool, booze, a bachelorette party, or a ridiculous amount of delicious food.

A few tips so you don't come home completely broke, but even if you do you had a blast:
    - Take advantage of the comps in the casinos wherever you gamble. This means you have to sign up for a player card which takes 5 minutes. You and your boys will get free meals and other stuff that makes it worthwhile.
    - Put your player card in a slot machine and play $20, $50, or $100 once at a nice casino during the trip. A complete waste of money at first, but you will be flooded with free offers on rooms and stuff for your next visit. Casinos love the slot jockeys.
    - Avoid the slots at all cost except for the above rule.
    - Don't go to a show. Complete waste of an evening. To me this is like going to a movie while you're on vacation.
    - If getting drunk during the day (which you should), the pool is always the best place. Just remember the SPF 380.
    - Always cab it from place to place. They seem close at first but going from one casino to the next is like walking 15 city blocks in 120 degree weather. It's worth the 5 bucks, especially at night where there's a 48% chance you'll get robbed.
    - If you and/or your friends are trying to get laid, there are about 50,000 bachelorette parties going on at any one time in Vegas. Find one of them and talk to the drunk girls.
    - Don't spend more than 2 hours looking at the sites. They seem cool at first, but you'll regret spending the time watching tourist stuff when you could've been drinking/gambling/eating/watching strippers.
    - If you're winning a lot at a blackjack table and they bring an asian dealer in, get up. That's like them bringing in Mariano Rivera to shut you down.

    Amen.

They stick it in you without even a smile or thank you.
